Jeremy Schell

Chairman of the Board

Chairman Jeremy has been a major part of Growth Ministries Int. since its founding in 2013. He and his family are active in the Christ Covenant Church, along with other Christian ministries. Jeremy is currently enrolled in a Masters Degree program in Missions, Evangelism and Church Growth. He has also completed a Missional Coaches training program with Dr. Bob Whitesel of the Biblical Leadership ministry. [read more]

Dr Melvin Schell

President and CEO

Mel is a nationally known Church consultant called into the ministry from a career with IBM. His PhD is in Missions, Evangelism and Church Growth, and he studied Church Growth in the Doctor of Ministry program at the Fuller School of World Mission. He was mentored by world renowned missiologists like Donald McGavran, C. Peter Wagner and Ralph Winter. [read more]

Joe Plunkett

Treasurer

Joe is a Bible teacher who has taught many different Bible studies in numerous churches throughout the nation. He has also led international mission trips, served as an elder and in other local church ministries. His passion for mission work is influenced by his 52 year career as an IBM executive. He and his family not only lived in Japan, he visited more than 40 nations as as a representative of IBM. [read more]

Pat Hammond

Pat serves as the Secretary for the Board and as a Special Assistant to the president. She is an excellent editor who is very involved in developing the numerous booklets and training materials available from GMI. She lives in Gainesville, Georgia and is a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and the Wisdom Seekers Sunday School class in Gainesville, Georgia. [read more]

Allan Watkins

Allan and his wife Tracy live in Cleveland, Georgia along with their son Allan Jr. and daughter Maggie. Allan has been an important part of Growth Ministries Int. since it’s beginning. He and his family are active in the Cleveland Worship Center. Prior to moving to Cleveland, they lived in Atlanta and attended the Perimeter Church in Atlanta.

Allan is a very successful entrepreneur who brings a great deal understanding to the worldwide ministry of GMI. [read more]

Mark Schell

Mark has also been involved with GMI from its inception. He lives in Hoschton, Georgia along with his wife Lidia, his daughter Hannah and Lidia’s son Brandon. They are all active in the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mark was previously active with the 12 Stone Church in Atlanta where he participated in producing and acting in some outstanding Christian video productions that were widely used. [read more]
