Equipping His Church

Here is how GMI Equips the Church

The apostle Paul said that Jesus Christ gave His followers the gifts and calling to equip, train, and motivate His Church to vigorously make disciples of all the nations:

He is the one who gave these gifts to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11, 12 NLT)

We believe God has called us to do this equipping by assisting our Christian Community (churches, non-profit organizations, and individuals) to fulfill the Great Commission. We do this through the Consulting Division, the Coaching Division the Communications Division, and the Community Support Division. These last two Divisions are intended to help equip the Church to obey the Great Commandment as given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ.

1. The Consulting Division provides the highest-quality resources of personnel and materials to assist organizations. Our goal is to help churches and other ministries become more effective and efficient in carrying out the Great Commission. We utilize the best practices and resources available from Certified Church Consultants and other approved consultants who are qualified to assist churches and other organizations. We also use some of the unique principles developed by Rev. Schell called Total Church Growth for churches and Total Organizational Growth for other types of ministries. 2. The Coaching Division provides the highest-quality approved coaches and resources to assist ministers, church staff, leaders, and other individual Christians to become more effective and efficient in carrying out the Great Commission. (read more about this Division)

3. The Communication Division provides the highest-quality resources to assist ministers, church staff, leaders, and other individual Christians to connect with each other and the many resources that are available to help them become more effective and efficient in carrying out the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. 4. The Community Support Division provides a bridge between the Faith-Based Community (FBC) and the Secular Community (SC). The FBC is made up of all followers of Jesus Christ, churches, Christian ministries, and other religious organizations. On the other hand, the SC is made up everyone in our community without regard to their religious affiliation. The Lord Jesus Christ emphasized the need for this bridge in the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39). (read more about this Division)
